Community Garden
For the 2010 Season -- Put down some roots and come grow with us! Join your neighbors in growing your own farm fresh vegetables. 64 plots, approx. 450 sq. feet each, are available at Karner Farm. Deer fencing will surround the garden. Plots will be prepared by May 28, 2010, possibly earlier depending on weather conditions. Call us at 248.451.1900 or email m_balewski@westbloomfieldparks.org to request a complete information sheet.
Please Note: Gardeners from last year will have the option to choose their same plot again this year through March 31st. After this date all plots will be released for other to sign Up. A wait list will be taken until the March 31st date.
The Off Leash Dog Area (OLDA) is a fenced three-acre area where dogs may run and play off leash. In order to use the area, you must register with West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation at the Recreation Activities Center in the Civic Center Complex. Only West Bloomfield residents may register their dogs; fee is $20 per year.
